What Does a(n) _____ Carry? is a collection of 6 pamphlets based on Ursula K. Le Guin’s The Carrier Bag Theory of Fiction. Using the word “carry” as a converter, I created several short stories that focus on the same theme: the process, which I call “transformation,” of how fiction derives from a real object. The work contains five completed stories and a blank “to be created” story expected to be completed by readers.
